OVERVIEW

The pinkuyo is a fipple flute, the mouthpiece of which is similar to that of the recorder. Different versions of this instrument are played in many areas of the Andean region.
Our pinkuyos are made mainly out of bamboo cane, and they are fingered in the same manner as a quena.
